It was such a joy to meet the Lynch family and photograph sweet Alexandra’s newborn session! Alexandra Cristina Angel Lynch was born on May 12, 2016 weighing 6 lbs 13 oz and was 19 inches long. She was welcomed with abounding love by her mom, dad and FOUR big brothers! Yep, thats right, this little angel has four big brothers to dote all over her and protect her!
Alexandra was 4 weeks old when we did her newborn session and was bright eyed and as sweet as can be! I absolutely loved watching her big brothers interact with her in such tender and loving ways. I can’t count how many times her two year old brother, Atlas, kissed her sweet little toes!
It was so much fun watching Alexandra’s mom, Janne and Janne’s sister pick out all of the girly props for the session! What a change for this mom of four boys to implement ruffles, bows and lots of girly elements into the newborn pictures!
After we had just begun the session, Alexandra’s dad, Paul, came home and walked in with a Canon 5d Mark iii that was fitted for infrared photography. Well, was I in for quite a surprise as I learned of his incredible photography skills… and gear! I felt like a kid in a candy shop as we discussed lenses, megapixels, Photoshop and everything photography!
I was amazed to learn that Paul had co-founded an incredible non-profit organization called World Pix. The passion behind World Pix is to help the poor and sick around the world through the power of photography. World Pix hand selects only a few premium, professional photographers who desire to make a contribution with their work. These images are then offered as premium fine art photographic prints for purchase with the profits returning within those countries to help support various worthwhile causes. Each shot captures the boys love and adoration for their little sister! One of my favorites is the dad’s ‘heart’ hands around his daughter’s feet. The youngest brother’s fascination with the toes shots are priceless! What a beautiful family and blessed little girl to be surrounded by such love.
