I had such a blast with this fun Gilbert family session! Carlos and Janel were so excited for their Premiere Portrait Session as it had been a long time since they had professional photos taken!
Janel and I had so much fun sharing Pinterest ideas for their session and she scored big time with her wardrobe choices! Love!
Their adorable children, Anabel (3) and Matthew (1) stole the show with their playfulness and gorgeous eyes!
As we were wrapping up Carlos & Janel’s session, I decided to break out the bubbles for Anabel as she had been such a trooper for the shoot. It was twilight, so using my 50mm, f/1.2 lens I jacked up my ISO and shot at f/2 to capture Anabel… just being Anabel!
This precious little one was in her element! A pretty, sparkly dress, no shoes and room to twirl and run around. I particularly loved watching her intense concentration as she focused on perfecting her bubble blowing skills. I think at three, she’s got it down! I just love when unexpected surprises present themselves during a session! These images ended up being some of my personal favorites. (And mom and dad’s too!)
