Before the holidays, I was able to connect with a precious family friend and her little drummer boy. We have known Jessica and her family since she was in Jr. High. I even had the honor of taking her high school senior photos. Well, fast forward and she is now married to an amazing young man and has an adorable little boy, Gray.
Jessica is a talented hair stylist and I was able to sneak my granddaughter, Adair, in for a haircut while we had her in town. It was my first time meeting Gray and let me tell you… what a little charmer.
The first thing on his little agenda was to impress us with his mad drumming skills! His daddy is a gifted drummer so no surprise there! We then moved on to a major tickle session, including upside down tickling! We finished off our visit with Gray graciously sharing his black beans with us! Yum!
What a joy it is to watch young people who have been a part of your life grow up and have families of their own. To watch them step into their own faith in God and live it out to His glory is such a blessing!
