I can’t tell you how much I LOVED photographing Maddie for her Perry High School senior photos. Maddie is definitely in a class by herself. Her incredible witty sense of humor had me and my sister, Julie, practically doubling over from laughter! (Which wasn’t such a great thing towards the end of the session when we desperately had to, um… use the ladies’ room!)
I asked Maddie to text me a little bio of herself and instead of me rewriting it, I thought I’d share her exact words…
“Hi, Maddie here! Here’s my bio:
-I like writing, reading, and eating good food!
-My favorite books in no particular order are: Jurassic Park, The Strange Library, The Great Gatsby, and If On A Winter’s Night A Traveler.
-My favorite movie is also Jurassic Park, though I’m also a sucker for Disney.
-I want to travel the world one day.
-I’d like to live in an apartment in a big city someday, Romancing the Stone style.
-An electric guitar quit the family business to perform on Broadway and that’s my music taste.
-I’m not sure what I want to do when I’m older, but I’m debating between a teacher, an illustrator, and an author.”
There you have it! (The electric guitar one totally cracked me up!)
I loved how Maddie’s outfit she put together coordinated with the beautiful desert blooms! And how her choice of lipstick matched her “Les Miserables” book perfectly. Sometimes, it’s just the little things that make a session shine!
Maddie, you’re a remarkably bright, witty, artistic young woman. And the best part… you love Jesus! Congratulations, beautiful!
