Hailey has a new sister!
What a joy it was to photograph this precious little newborn ~ Reagan Grace McConchie!
In so many ways, sweet Reagan has been long awaited. She added to the great anticipation by deciding to stay warm and cozy in her Momma’s belly for over a week longer!
At 11 pounds and 22 1/2 inches long, she made quite the arrival! There was no waiting for those arms and legs to get those sweet, kissable baby rolls! And those cheeks… they are oh, so cute!(Especially in her gray knit hat!)
I was overjoyed for the opportunity to photograph Reagan with Mom and Dad at the hospital within her first day of arriving. The gift of life and the love of the Father was so precious to capture.
When it came time for Reagan’s Premiere Newborn Session, photographing this sweet 5 day old was such a delight! I keep my studio around 85 degrees when photographing newborns and Reagan was so content as we gently moved her from set to set! (The rest of us were getting sweaty but the star of the show was as happy as a clam!)
I love photographing newborn sessions when a new sibling joins the family. What a joy to capture this new and exciting time! As you know, the transition from being and only child to becoming an older sibling can be a little rough at times. I loved the moment caught on camera when 3 1/2 year old Hailey became a little teary as we started the family pics. The tenderness of Mom wiping away her little tears is so touching.
Thankfully, it didn’t take long for Hailey get back to her adorable, silly self! She was such a doll as she snuggled with her new little sister and LOVED having the opportunity to take some “big girl” pictures of just her!
It truly is a privilege to capture such an amazing time in my client’s lives… new life.
