I finally have some time to catch up on some blog posts and have been excited to share some of the pics form Adair’s 3rd birthday in Olympia, Washington!
We first celebrated Adair’s actual birthday (June 2nd) by having some cake pops before breakfast. (Why, of course!) Nate and Taylor, along with other family members, have been working on the backyard and preparing it for grass. Therefore, Adair and her dog Babe, set out on a mission to find squirrels as they walked the perimeter of the backyard! We ended the morning by going to one of Adair’s favorite parks to play.
Adair’s birthday party was at Lattin’s Country Cider Mill. This small, family owned farm has been in business since 1976 and makes some of the best award-winning apple cider as well as many other delicious homemade goods. The kids loved feeding all the animals… goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, rabbits and ducks!
I love being able to capture those sweet moments with my camera when no one else is looking. Like Adair’s daddy showing her how to successfully spit ice and then see who can spit the farthest! Or the super sneaky “lick-the-cake” move when no one is watching that practically every toddler would try if given the chance!
We had so much fun visiting with all of Nate and Taylor’s family and friends! We were so grateful that some of them traveled quite a distance to celebrate Adair’s 3rd birthday!
Of course, her party couldn’t be complete without a mini driving lesson from Grandpa Neil!
Next up… Adair’s three year old beach photo session on Coronado Island! Stay tuned!
What a special birthday and memory to have so many friends and family celebrate this amazing little girl. It’s hard to pick a favorite but the ones of her walking on the blocks in the backyard are at the top…along with those curls! How blessed she is to have such a loving grandma and one that is so gifted in capturing and creating stories that touch our hearts and will be treasured for a lifetime!
Thank you! I’m so grateful you get to be such an integral part in Adair’s life! She loves her Aunt Julie!
