Colt + Ashley are having a baby! They are overjoyed to be expecting their baby girl (Stella Grace) in November. It was such a delight and honor taking their recent maternity pictures.
We were hoping to get some cooler weather the day of their Newborn Lifestyle Session. Evidently, Arizona didn’t get the memo that it was officially fall so triple digits it was. We were more than thankful for the river and a little breeze.
Ashley is an AMAZING hair stylist and owner of The Ashley Method. I was referred to Ashley by mutual friends and loved her the moment I met her. What Ashley and I weren’t aware of during our first appointment was the incredible connection my husband’s family had to her family. Because her last name is different than her maiden name, I didn’t make that connection at first. Fast forward during some casual conversation when the light bulb went off and I started asking her about her family! It so happens that my father-in-law was a part of her great grandparent’s lives since he was a small boy. (He is now 82!) Ashely’s precious grandmother played the organ at our wedding 34 years ago! The stories go on and on. Gotta love Chandler! It’s big now but it was tiny then.
As you can see by Colt + Ashley’s images, they are quite the stunning couple. However their greatest features are their incredible souls on the inside. Colt + Ashley love Jesus and love each other passionately. I know they have already fallen head over heals in love with Stella Grace and can’t wait to meet her!
