Sydne is graduating from Corona Del Sol and I was so honored to take her senior photos!
I have actually had the privilege of photographing Sydne since she was 9 years old! She went though several Image Development classes with the wonderful Sincerely, Sandra in which I was the photographer for the headshots. Of course, I had to dig up some of Sydne’s pictures throughout the years and wanted to share how this amazing young woman was destined to be in front of the camera!
Sydne booked my Premiere Senior Session and got the whole shebang! She arrived at my studio having just come form getting her absolutely-to-die-for hair done. Being a “Curly Girl” myself, I was curious who did her hair. To my surprise and delight, she goes to the same salon that I do and even had the same stylist! (A big shout out to Priscilla at Curls Gone Wild!)
Our studio session was over the top! Sydne is such a natural in front of the camera and her contagious smile took center stage! When going over the outfits she brought, I was elated when she pulled out this huge, vintage style sequined gown! I love incorporating unique elements in my photo sessions and we definitely utilized her fun gown both in the studio as well as outdoors! The highlight of Sydne’s studio session had to be when I brought out the bubbles! I absolutely love how some of these images turned out. SO FUN!
After our studio session, we headed outdoors. All I can say is Sydne was quite the trooper. You should have seen us foraging through weeds, sticks, and waist high grass as she calmly held her gown high to avoid all the stickers! (And a huge thanks to my assistants Kelly and Karly for foraging with us!) Was it worth it? Well, I’ll let you be the judge!
Congratulations, Sydne! You will never know how much it has meant to me to photograph you through the years! (And hopefully there will be more memory making sessions ahead of us!)
