This family. Words cannot express the joy and privilege I had photographing the Swaitkowsk’s.
I have known Megan since she was a little girl and was blessed and honored to photograph Pauland Megan’s older girls when they were babies. When their third child was about to be born, plans were set for me to photograph him as well. However, to everyone’s surprise, our little granddaughter decided to arrive a month early (in Hawaii) and was born a day before their son, Henry!
A lot has happened in the Swaitkowski home since then. The Lord has blessed them with the heart to foster and adopt two sweet little sisters. This photo session was the perfect way to celebrate what God has done in this precious family… of seven!
The act of adoption is so beautifully modeled in our relationship with God as new believers. “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” John 1:12. It is so clear that adoption is dear to the heart of Christ. “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.” Matthew 18:5
