I took this picture during a visit to England a few years back. As I walked among the scattered remnants of an old abbey (founded in 1363), this simple, yet beautiful cross stood strong.
This cross represents the greatest love known to mankind. A love so great that Jesus Christ gave up His life… just for me.
To me, this embodies everything that is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy.
I immediately knew this picture needed to be my first post in “My Personal Challenge: think four:eight“. {Philipians 4:8}
Jennifer,
What a noble challenge you’ve given yourself, I may tag on to the idea myself, finding that negative thoughts and worries creep in to my brain mass far too often.
For feedback, your first blog was filled with self-truth, insightful, written with honest humor and reflected a vulnerability with a veil of strength. I loved it.
The cross is beautiful . . . not only it’s Christian symbolism, but the simplicity of timeless beauty.
I’m eager to talk to you about photography. I took my own personal challenge and got off of “automatic mode” on my camera during our vacation. A stretch filled with such a burst of knowledge I was so excited to try the next shot!!!!
Thank you for shating.
Judy
