Oh my goodness! I can’t begin to tell you how special it was to photograph Baby Everett and his parents, Jason & Jessica. The awe and amazement of being first time parents came through in every shot!
Jason and Jessica met on-the-job in 2013 and were just married over Labor Day weekend in Napa Valley, CA and their honeymoon baby followed suit! Baby Everett was born on June 18 and weighed 7 lbs and was 20 1/4″ long. I think the sweetest part of their Premiere Newborn Session was not only capturing the wonder of being first time parents but also capturing how crazy in love they are with each other. An added bonus was being able to sneak in a few pictures of Jessica’s mom who was visiting from out of town. Nothing like being a grandma!
It was so precious watching Jason & Jessica ooh and ahh over every little thing Everett did and then look at each other and just beam! This is why I love this type of lifestyle photography so much. My goal in lifestyle photography is not to come away with a bunch of “forced” poses but rather capture the beauty of each family and each relationship in a natural way with some direction as needed.
