Parker’s Cake Smash Session Arizona Family Photographer

What a delightful time  I had photographing Parker’s Cake Smash Session! The pictures sum up how sweet little Parker felt about the whole event!

It’s been almost a year since I took this little man’s newborn pictures and now he is taking center stage with gusto. In spite of having a rough go of it in the beginning of his life with several complications and needing heart surgery, he has grown and flourished so beautifully. What a testimony to God’s faithfulness and amazing doctors and nurses!

Parker’s mom and grandma were such a great help during the session as they sang, danced to music, made monkey sounds to try and evoke smiles! But for Parker, the show stopper was the chocolate birthday cake! He started daintily picking off pieces of frosting with his fingers then after about 30 seconds, he was face down into his cake. I was laughing so hard that it was a challenge keeping my camera still!

What a privilege it is to capture such precious moments in my client’s lives. One moment I’m capturing tiny one day old fingers and toes, then before you know it, it’s time for high school senior pictures! Time is such a precious gift!
